Aflacs Benefit Consultants Job Responsibilities Include, but are Not Limited to: • Sell various types of supplemental insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of Aflac. • Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their resources and needs. • Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients. • Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks. • Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans. • Calculate premiums and establish payment methods. • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals. Required Skills: • Being able to manage one's own time as well as the time of others. • Work independently as well as collaboratively. • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Must be outgoing and an articulate communicator.
