I originally bought this guitar to perform at my brother’s wedding thinking I then would incorporate it into my band. The Alvarez performed beautifully at the wedding but I play a Martin acoustic in the band and just don’t have enough songs to use the 12 string Alvarez, so, it just kind of sits around. It sounds real good unplugged or plugged in and it deserves to be played. The top is englemann spruce, the back & sides are pure maple and it has a rosewood bridge. The electronic system is a 600 TMK II which also has a built in tuner. Anyone who has picked up a 12 string to jam knows it can be a nightmare to tune by ear but this tuner will have you up and jamming in minutes.
