Title: SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (Turbo Machinery) –Vermont

Company is the world's leading independent, full-service turbo machinery design and development organization. For nearly a half century, they have provided manufacturers, users, government agencies, and the engineering community with technology tools, services, and products that have met their needs, achieved their goals, and helped develop and produce some of the world's most advanced products.

They are seeking a senior structural engineer to join their design group in Vermont. Responsibilities include structural analysis and mechanical design of compressors, pumps, and turbines, including both rotating components as well as static structures. This senior engineer must have significant and direct experience with turbo machinery, including analyzing and interpreting results for stress, vibration, and heat transfer. Design experience with multiple turbo machinery components such as wheels, rotors, bearings, seals, and casings desired. Proficiency with ANSYS or equivalent finite element software required. Project management experience is a plus. Duties also include managing smaller engineering projects, technical decision making, as well as interfacing with clients. Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience after the degree is earned.
