All Fleet Services, a Division of Transwest, has been in the mobile emergency repair service industry since 1997. We have completed over 30,000 service calls! We have a new shop at I-76 and Pecos. We repair all types of trucks, tractors, trailers and Class A diesel motor homes. The Service Writer is the contact between the customer and All Fleet Services when service is required. From obtaining proper paper work data to providing information on status and completion times, the service writers are the gateway to service. Service Writers provide one consistent source of information for the client and free the mechanics and shop foreman to perform their duties with minimal interruptions.
SERVICE WRITER ALL FLEET SERVICES Denver, CO $16.00 - $20.00 Per Hour JOB DESCRIPTION All service writers must be able to :
•Coordinate with customers.
Coordination effort includes:
•Contacting and responding to clients on scheduling work.
•Answering service calls for status updates.
•Call customers when work is completed.
•Greet customers and/or interview to determine needed repairs.
•Identifying customer by name, company, address & vehicle number.
•Walking vehicle w/customer so he/she may point out any items that require attention.
•Asking pertinent questions regarding complaints about vehicle performance &conditon.
•Recording all necessary information on the Service Order from the interview.
•Obtaining keys to the vehicle or Dispatching a Mobile Tech.
•Create a Repair Order (RO) from the service order information.
RO package includes:
•Identifying each condition for the vehicle in the Service system.
•Specifying estimated repair time (SRT).
•Obtaining quotes and estimates in writing from the shop foreman for conditions not covered by the SRT. •Writing the physical description of unit with vehicle number.
•Attach supporting documentation (Such as warranty information, previous work data, coverage, etc.).
•Obtaining work authorization from the driver or the company and record on the RO.
•Write contact information.
The closing of an RO includes:
•Type up work stories.
•Enter SRT times.
•Verify warranty or customer pay conditions.
•Call for Purchase Orders and authorizations.
•Attach the keys to the invoice for cash customers and to the summary RO for other customers. Move cash customer invoices to cashier.

REQUIREMENTS Minimum Requirements for a Service Writer: •A high school diploma or equivalent. •Our preferred candidate will have experience as a Service Writer and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. •Excellent verbal and written communication is a must. •Good customer relation skills and knowledge of computers is required. •Experience or knowledge of Heavy Duty Trucks is preferred.
