Title: Electrical Controls Engineer Attention: Company is seeking a Electrical Controls Engineer to research, plan, and design software, electrical, and electromechanical products and systems. To direct and coordinate activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, maintenance, and repair of software, electrical, and electromechanical products and systems. Also to works closely with other Engineering disciplines to develop products and systems to satisfy customer orders. Relocation available for the right candidate but prefer local resident.
Location: Charlotte, NC
Responsible for but not limited to: Plans, conducts, and directs research and development for given engineering assignments related to shipment of Machine Tools products. Researches and analyzes data such as Machine Tools Customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. Designs and develops special equipment related to Machine Tools Division and specifically the Automated Turning Machines. Estimates engineering time, material, and resources required for given projects. Schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications. Acts as liaison with other departments within the Machine Tools Division (i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or Purchasing).
Bachelor's degree BSEE or equivalent; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Ideal Candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree BSEE or equivalent. 4 + years in design and development of special equipment related to Machine Tools(ideally Automated Turning Machines). Experience in design and development of electrical and software systems to satisfy Machine Tool Customer order specifications.
