Part-Time (10-15 hours/week) Bookkeeping Position

Responsible for fiscal duties: payroll functions (twice monthly), journal entries, prepare financial statement, fee for service billings, some grant fiscal administration, 403(b) contributions. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Reports to Executive Director.

Complete and/or compile information for tax reports including form 990, form 5500, form 941, all federal and state tax returns. Prepare 1099s and W-2s and W-3 at year end. Monthly bank reconciliations.

Maintain Peachtree accounting software. Assist with annual independent audit.

Process hiring paperwork for new employees; COBRA; worker’s compensation, assist executive director with insurance plan(s).

- Bachelors degree with major coursework in accounting, finance, or closely related field
- Possess 2 plus years of recent experience in GL, payroll, journal entries, financial statement prep, budgeting, and grant fiscal administration
- Experience with Peachtree, Microsoft Excel, Word, internet
- Team player, self-motivated and energetic
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Experience with disability and nonprofit preferred

$13 per hour
