ur field service technicians are based out of their homes, pick up parts from a local depot and go directly to customer sites to run the service call. You will work with a remote dispatch manager to accomplish the necessary service level required by our clients and customers. SMARTECH offers Dell Certifications and training necessary to perform service calls. You'll be working with an award-winning team with an impressive track record.

The parts depot is located in Washington DC , and most calls will stay within 25 miles of the depot.

Responsibilities and requirements:
•Provide on-site tech support to include installation, maintenance and repairs of desk tops, laptops, and peripherals.
•Maintain open lines of communication with assigned Service Delivery Coordinator (SDC) to ensure customer satisfaction and meet Service Level Agreements.
•Track and insure return of all parts
•Provide SDC with required call closure documentation and necessary reporting.
•Resolve customer issues using superior customer service and communication skills.

Required Qualifications:
•Must be authorized to work in the United States.
•Must be a local candidate with knowledge of the geographical area and be available to start immediately.
•Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
•Excellent customer service skills and a desire to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
•Must have an ability to work with minimal immediate supervision.
•Ability to organize and prioritize service calls in consultation with SDC in order to meet overall needs of our customers and Service Level Agreements.
•Ability to follow necessary documentation, call closure and parts tracking processes and procedures.
•Ability to document and maintain accurate time and mileage records.
•Dell certifications preferred.

Service calls are mainly swapping parts for Dell warranty customers. A strong background working with laptops is needed.
