The Harold Hamm Oklahoma Diabetes Center is looking for volunteers diagnosed with type 2 diabetes to participate in a research study evaluating the effectiveness of an approved medication in people with inadequate glycemic control.
You might be eligible for this study if you:
• Are over 18 years of age • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months • Have never taken insulin • Are currently taking metformin plus any combination of oral antidiabetes medication • Have an HbA1c level between 7.0 and 9.0 % • Have a BMI of 25.0 – 45.0
Qualified participants will receive study-related medication, medical care, laboratory work, and glucose monitoring supplies at no cost.
