Job Description
Metro TeenAIDS is seeking an early career professional to assist in implementing development activities. The individual will be responsible for data base entry, large scale mailings, and lots of detail management. The person will develop materials, conduct research and outreach to promote the organization. The individual will be responsible for some aspects of compiling grants and coordinating grants schedules (due dates, reporting dates, etc) The individual will report to the development manager
Tasks may include:
• Data entry and donor letters
• Filing (both paper and electronic)
• Managing development and donor files
• Compiling a resource book and materials for outreach and marketing, including extensive research and data collection on local community networks and information outlets.
• Expanding our network of community and corporate partners
• Arranging meetings and activities focused on development and advancement activities
• Expanding media relationships
Skills / Requirements
B.A / B.S. degree
Good writing and research skills
Professional demeanor and dress
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proven success at detail management in a fast paced office environment

This job is part time based on a fulltime salary range $30-35,000 / year. MTA pays partial health insurance; provides paid vacation and professional development funds.
