Spencerport United Methodist Church is seeking an Organist/Music Director for Sunday morning worship services throughout the year. Responsibilities include playing organ and/or piano for weekly worship services, directing the adult choir (September through June), leading weekly choir rehearsals (typically Wednesday evenings), directing the handchime ensemble (app. once every other month), and coordinating additional music activities in the church (soloists, etc.). Availability to play for occasional weddings and funerals is also preferred.
The Church has a 2 manual Allen organ, an upright piano, and a full-size Yamaha electric piano. Extremely friendly, welcoming congregation and choir.
