• Review all incoming project documentation for accuracy, completeness and content consistency.
• Receive and log all documents, in both electronic and paper format for project record maintenance.
• Distribute and ensure all electronic documents are transmitted to the appropriate project staff
• Manage the electronic and hard copy filing of project related technical documentation.
• Interpret, analyze and collate drawings and specifications and ensure that the latest revision of the drawings are kept updated continuously.
• Independently assess and judge document changes and errors.
• Maintain and update project document control procedures and record keeping databases.
• Review upcoming deliverables and work load requirements.
• Scanning, creation of CD’s and files manipulation.
• Maintain stick files in an orderly manner.
• Assist Project Engineers with posting of RFI’s and changes.
• Serve as a resource for the assigned Document Control room/library.
• Respond to queries regarding revisions status of issued drawings/documents from project staff.
• Provide clerical / technical support to staff as needed.
• Office Administrative Responsibilities (ordering of supplies for all staff, postage & mailing, data entry, copying, answering main phone line.


• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
• Ability to manage electronic files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, PowerPoint, etc.
• Be able to type a minimum of 50 WPM and be able to learn multiple databases.
• Leadership and supervisory skills
• Advanced writing skills using MS Office 2007 software with heavy emphasis on using MS Word to format and edit documents. Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Picture Manager.
• Knowledge and use of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• Strong project management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to juggle numerous writing projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new software applications to improve speed in delivering final product.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision.
• Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
• May need to be familiar with specific document types such as drawings, specifications, software and standards
• Deadline oriented with the ability to work overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines.

3-5 years experience preferred

High School diploma and some college preferred but not required

$18.00 to $25.00 DOE

Available upon completion of 90 eligibility period
