The Workshare Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for managing sales of assigned accounts within a defined US territory as well as identifying and closing new business. The RAM goal is to meet and exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas, and build new revenue streams through the expansion and growth of the business relationships with both current and new customers. The RAM is also responsible for maintaining and managing yearly support and services revenue.

Position duties and responsibilities:

- Works with customers to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives and needs while aligning our products and services where opportunities exist to support quota objectives
- Manages sales pipeline and provide timely and accurate sales forecast reports
- Manages all software renewals for assigned accounts
- Identifies, develops, and maintains long-term customer relationships, including managing all aspects of the relationship between the customer and Workshare (Gold and Platinum Support, engineering, product management, marketing and executive teams)
- Identifies competitive threats at the account level and gathering appropriate information to support sales efforts
- Sells and markets to assigned accounts with a high degree of independence
Seeks direction from management as required for complex customer issues
- Participates in events and programs influence sales opportunities
- Meets face-to-face with assigned accounts in the territory on a regular basis.

Job Specifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in related field.
- Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures of content management.
- Experience working with the legal industry a plus.
- Good judgment and creativity.
- Be alert for changes in the market conditions, competitive activities, and customer needs
- Self motivated, goal oriented individual.
- Negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all organizational levels (C-level to end-user level).
- Proven track record exceeding sales goals.
- Prospecting (phone, email, etc.) skills.

- This position requires a self-starter, team player, positive attitude, goal-oriented, high energy, and willing to go above beyond job duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Travel is required 25-50% of the time.
