Housing Authority of Baltimore City recruiting for someone to be responsible for the repair work on various appliances and electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment with the Mechanical Shop. Duties include fabricating parts, repairing small engines and various motors, rebuilding automotive systems, and performing emergency roadside service. Performance requires thorough knowledge of materials and techniques used in automotive, appliance and small engine repair.
Must have graduated from HS, vocational school or have GED, preferably supplemented by technical level courses in mechanical, electrical, or building trades and 4 yr experience in the diagnosis and repair of gasoline and electronically powered equipment, hand and gas mowers, mobile or stationary mechanical equipment. Must possess a valid driver's license and have full-time use of an automobile.
