Job Title: Adjunct Dean, School of Hospitality Management, Merchandising and Tourism

Job Location: California, USA

REQUIREMENTS:
1.Applicant must posses a earned doctoral degree from an accredited college or university.
2.Applicant must have a minimum of 8 years of previous experience in combined research, industry and/or higher education, three of which in the field of hospitality management, merchandising or tourism and have demonstrated organizational and administrative ability.
3.Demonstrated leadership ability.


Job Responsibilities:

1.To grow your school by developing new courses and degree programs.
2.To evaluate the performance of department chairs within your school.
3.To insure quality education and to develop evaluative criteria for the assessment of learning experiences as substitutes for classroom experience.
4.To insure an educational model that mixes theoretical foundation of learning with the dynamic needs of the world of work so that we can produce “Life-Learners”.
5.To review existing degree programs for possible change(s).
6.To recommend students for graduation.
7.To approve all text books to be used by faculty within your school.
8.To develop graduate degree programs.
