DIRECTIONS to Soldiers’ Home: From 14th Street/Georgia Avenue; go to Upshur Street and turn East. Proceed until Upshur Street dead ends. The main entrance will be directly in front of you. Enter main gate. Show a driver’s license and say you are with The Holiday Project program in Scott Main Dining Room. Drive straight ahead for one block. On right is a Scott Building. Turn right just before the building onto Arnold Street. It curves behind the Scott Building. At the center of the curve is a “large patio” and a rear entrance. Park on the right side of Arnold Street, across from the patio’s entrance – with 2 tires on the pavement and the rest of your car on the grass to right. Walk toward the patio, into the first floor entrance, into a dining room. Meet at the elevator in the front of dining room.
