One of the most private settings you will ever find in the popular Austin Lakehills community. This lot is a nature-lover's paradise! Photo shown on this ad is of the creek, waterfall and totally wonderful natural limestone spring-fed mini-grotto...all are on this lot! Enjoy it in absolute 100% privacy...swim attire definitely not required! Ownership of this lot entitles you to join the Lakehills Community Association, which give you access to the waterfront park on Lake Austin (about 3/4 of a mile North of this lot). The park features a boat ramp/launch, docking slips for daytime use, a nice clubhouse for parties, community swimming pool and kiddie pool, volleyball, basketball court, BBQ pits & picnic tables, a cool playscape, horseshoes and a swim platform in a roped-off swimming area on the lake. This area is home to many of Austin's most talented artists, musicians and entrepreneurs. The lot is within the boundaries served by the acclaimed Eanes Independent School District. Most lots in this area are about 1/4 acre and sell for a minimum of $80,000. Note that this lot is over four times the size of typical lots...this is a great price for a truly unique lot! Similarly-sized lots (without the creek!) sell for $175,000 to upwards of $350,000 in the immediate vicinity. This lot is not tied to a particular builder...use any builder you like. For sale by owner...please- NO contact by realtors/brokers seeking this listing. Partial owner financing may be considered. Reply here or call (512) 329-0329.
Directions: Take Bee caves Rd (2244) West of Loop 360 (Capital of Tx Highway). Turn North on Cuernavaca, go 2 miles then turn left at Mecca. Go left at the 2nd block on Saratoga, then proceed about five streets on your left to Mestena Trail. Turn left on Mestena then follow the road a couple hundred feet until you see a right turn...take this route thru the gate and then turn right again 50 ft or so after the gate. The gate may be closed and appear to be chained, but it is not locked. (Please close it and reset the appearance of lock-edness when you leave). This gravel road leads directly to the lot. Go to the end of this road and the lot will be on your right. There's a large relatively flat building site before you reach the ravine where the creek is. If the water is running, you'll hear the waterfall from the lip of the ravine. I would appreciate your feedback.
