HEALTH SCREENERS AND EDUCATORS: CNA, MA, LPN, LVN, EMT, OR RN PREFERRED

Prior experience working wellness screenings with us or other screening companies is a plus.

Health Screeners:

You must have minimum 2 years experience in one of the following areas:

• Performing finger sticks to test cholesterol and glucose using a Cholestech LDX machine a plus.

• Taking blood pressure using both a stethoscope and manual cuff as well as an automatic cuff

• Checking pulses

• Height/Weight/BMI/ body composition

Health Coaches: Responsible for providing coaching on the following test results:

· Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Glucose, Triglycerides, Blood Pressure and BMI Education & Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Health Education with 3 years minimum work experience in Health Education and executing wellness programs.

· Training in motivational interviewing and coaching is encouraged.

· Candidate must have solid verbal and written communication skills.

** All positions are contractor per diem positions. An excellent and exciting opportunity for a customer focused contractor who is upbeat, a problem solver, self directed and a team player to work “as needed" at health screening events. Flexible schedules for nurses, medical students and medical personnel looking to supplement income.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:

Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, handling, and repetitive motions. This contractor position requires reaching, bending, kneeling and as well as reaching above your shoulders throughout the workday to perform screenings of participants. Must be able to lift and carry up to 10-20 pounds.
