POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for developing and leading a well-trained wine tasting room team. Duties include: • Managing the presentation of informative and interesting tours and wine tasting events that delight customers; • Managing a gift shop with wine-related merchandise; • Contributing to the winery product development and management teams; • Actively participating in the Company’s continuous quality improvement program and the team’s ISO 9000 compliance effort.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or similar discipline preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS: • 5+ years of leadership and team management experience; • Demonstrated passion for wine and outstanding customer service; • Experience establishing departmental goals, business growth, and bottom line financial results; • Must possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; • Computer knowledge and skills are required.
