CHILD PSYCHIATRIST - COMPETITVE COMPENSATION WESTERN VERMONT (SOUTH OF BURLINGTON) 2 DAYS A WEEK - 4 VACANCIES
DUTIES: Provide psychiatric care to the children served by the employing agency. Act as medical consultant and advise one or more programs on medical matters such as medical policies, protocal and clinical program development for one or more programs. Participates in risk management, utilization, peer review and quality assurance programs. Must be able to act independently, consistently exercising discretion and judgment in performing work which is predominantly intellectual and varied in nature. Participate in and/or chair various committees. Provide client evaluation and consultation services as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: l. Must have medical degree in psychiatry from an accredited medical school. 2. Must have 2+ years experience in child psychiatry. 3. Must have license to practice in Vermont (clean record) or ability to transfer. 4. Must be board certified or eligible to be board certified. 5. Must not have any law suits against him/her.
