Better English Education is looking for Native English language instructors to teach English in Hebei, China. If you are looking to begin a rewarding career in ESL training, or would like to experience China and are looking for an interesting job, this is a great opportunity.

Job Summary
Total working hours/week: 40
Teaching hours: no more than 18, primarily at night and on weekends
Non-teaching tasks:
- Attend teacher training sessions
- Prepare for class
- Grade computer exercises
- Help school staff design courses

Teaching Details
What you will teach: Courses designed by ESL experts from the Creative Teaching Press. Lesson plans are provided.
Where you will teach: Better English Education Schools and corporate offices in Xingtai, a beautiful small city which is about 3 hours by train to Beijing.
Who you will teach: Students from kindergarten through high school, and government employees.
How you will teach: You are expected to closely follow the objectives and guidelines in the lesson plans. You will coach and train students using multimedia aids and PowerPoint presentations. You’ll have a bilingual Chinese Assistant to help you at the class – it’s OK that you don’t speak Chinese.
Who you will be working with: You will be a member of a highly professional, energetic, and ambitious team of Chinese and Western teachers, course designers, and management staff.

Wages / Benefits
Monthly salary: ¥3,000 - 5,000 (yuan), room and board included. The average monthly salary in China is ¥3,500 yuan, so the salary you’re making can assure you a very comfortable life in China.
Round trip plane ticket (reimbursed on completion of a year contract).
Paid holidays: school arranges travel tours during holidays for all teachers to explore this amazing country.
Furnished accommodations: You are required to pay utilities and management fees.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Hold Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Be eligible for a work visa
• Be a native English speaker (first language is English)
• Hold a valid passport
• Be able to commit to a one-year contract
• No criminal record

Current teacher’s certification preferred.
