The Canaveral Port Authority is currently seeking artists and crafts people interested in participating in our new “Cove Marketplace.” This will be an “open-air” village-style marketplace located in the Cove across from Rusty’s & Milliken’s Reef restaurants. The goal is to establish a weekly venue at the Port for our local artisans and businesses to sell their products to visitors and cruise line passengers, giving them a unique Florida experience that we know they will enjoy. The Port Authority hopes to attract a diverse group of vendors with products that are handmade, original, and with a Florida theme. The artwork can be 2-D or 3-D, painting, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, carving, etc. In addition to artisans, local businesses with unique Floridathemed products are invited to apply. To avoid a ‘flea market’ atmosphere, we are more interested in businesses that have unique and interesting Florida products, and are not simply retail outlets.
