The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the resident capacity of the Assisted Living facility.

Overview: Plans, direct, and coordinates the marketing of the organization’s products and/or services by performing the following duties.

Essential Elements of Job (Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following):
• Responsible for resident capacity of facility.
• Establishes marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.
• Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of the company products and/or services.
• Develops, coordinates and implements tours, follow-ups and referral sources.
• Plans and oversees the organization’s advertising, newsletter and promotional activities including; print, electronic, and direct mail outlets.
• Prepares marketing activity reports.
• Represents facility at all community activities and/or events.
• Responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of prospective residents and serves as a member of the assessment team with General Manager and Director of Assisted Living.
• Develop, train and motivate marketing backup staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. One year experience in a marketing related field.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as resident assessments. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of residents, employees and organizations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must react calmly but efficiently to emergencies.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations maybe made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. On occasion employee is required to drive and/or transport resident and/or potential resident. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Special Requirements: Must be a team leader. Must be available to work extended hours, weekends and holidays when necessary and/or services in unusual or emergency situations. Current CPR/First Aid certification, negative TB test, HIV/AIDS awareness education and blood borne pathogen training. Must comply with criminal background check and all facility policies and procedures and personnel policy manual.
