The Bev Knox Institute is a non-profit 501c3 organization committed to serving the educational needs of persons through arts and ideas.
The Bev Knox Scholarship Fund for Women, a subsidiary of The Bev Knox Institute, was created to assist single and/or divorced women with children who are experiencing hardships and meet specific income criteria, funding towards any Connecticut Community College program tuition. Amount will vary based on need. Our goal is to enhance their level of confidence, self-esteem and worth in the workplace, thus allowing them to better provide for their children.
How to become a sponsor: Private contributions and grants are becoming increasingly necessary and are actively solicited. All donations are very much appreciated, and are tax deductible.
In 2008-2009 a full time student taking 12 credits or more per semester for two semesters will pay $2,084 in basic tuition and fees (excludes books). There are additional fees for clinical, laboratory, and study courses, or excess credit.
Suggested Donations for one Candidate: $5,000 towards entire program; $2,500 towards one year; $1,250 towards one semester; and any amount towards general fund.
For each donation, your name and business name will appear on all our materials and our website as a sponsor to fund women’s education (unless you choose to remain anonymous).
You may donate to the fund and apply for the scholarship on our website. Good luck and thank you for your consideration!
