Salary: COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION (DOE)
BASIC PURPOSE POSITION


Management of 24 Hour Services to include:

* Triage and Health Information Line
* Audio Health Library
* Wrap around UR Program
* Prenatal Program
* To demonstrate profitability and promote quality cost effective patient care and outcomes.
* Responsible for ongoing planning, implementation, operations, monitoring, evaluation and promotion of these services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Vice President:

* Oversee and directs the efficiency of the workflow for team members.
* Serve as a resource to team members in resolving clinical and/or policy questions.
* Identify and implement quality improvement process within the scope of the organization's goals and objectives.
* Communicate with team members the department's objectives, standards, and expectations.
* Develop objectives and standards in conjunction with management.
* Research and resolves customer service problems regarding specific cases and/or policies.
* Communicate problems and resolution to management, other departments, and callers.
* Interview, hire, train, and develop assigned employees, and evaluate team member's performance.
* Provide feedback whenever needed to employees and management.
* Report to management the individual performance of team members as it relates to service, clinical knowledge, case review, and productivity.
* Complete and/or delegates as appropriate, written performance evaluation of team members.
* Develop and implement the clinical and operational policies and procedures.
* Review and update periodically.
* Promote a positive and cooperative working relationship among team members, other Team Leaders, Management, and other Departments.
* Coordinate time off requests of team members to ensure adequate staffing levels for the Departments.
* Identify potential risk management issues with timely follow up.
* Fiscal responsibility/accountability as outlined in Budgetary process.
* Prepare, analyze and submit administrative reports.

* Able to function in Nurse Counselor, and any other capacity as needed during period of extreme staffing shortage.
* Able to manage multiple priorities.
* Marketing and Sales Support.
* Key contact for clients during implementation and upon completion of implementation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1) Concurrent RN licensure in state of employer.
2) RN with 10 or more years of experience or MS/MSN with 5 years of experience.
3) Demonstrated nursing professionalism.
4) Clinical experience involving substantial public contact and previous triage and education role.
5) Management/supervisory experience.
6) Experience with quality management/risk management programs at the management level.
7) Strategic planning/program development experience.
8) Conflict management/negotiating skills.
9) Knowledge of organization and community resources.
10) Computer literacy with Windows Operating System.
11) Highly motivated self-starter.
12) Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
13) Works effectively with minimum supervision.
14) Time management skills.
15) Works well as a team player.

OTHER

* Active member of professional organization to maintain and promote industry contacts.
* Travel is occasionally required to meet clients’ needs, for sales support, and promotional activities.
* 24 hour on call availability.
* Participate in management committee.

BOTTOM LINE

1) Concurrent RN licensure in state of NH or another state that can be transferred.
2) Nursing degree or diploma with 10 or more years of experience or MS/MSN with 5 years of experience.
3) Clinical experience involving substantial public contact and previous triage and education role.
4) Management/supervisory experience.
5) Experience with quality management/risk management programs at the management level.
6) Strategic planning/program development experience.
