The National Lung Cancer Partnership is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the operations of a growing non-profit. This position will be considered at 75% to full-time. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Overseeing all financial operations of the business, including general accounting, development and implementation of the annual budget, and annual audits • Overseeing the human resources operations of the organization • Collaborating in developing, implementing and annually evaluating the Operating Plan • Establishing and modifying processes and procedures necessary to operate and expand the organization, including oversight of state chapter development, continuance, compliance, and legal matters • Ensuring the Board of Directors has the resources they need for appropriate oversight • Managing two direct reports and collaborating cohesively with our existing team members for programs, communications and development
Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years demonstrated success in organizational management and oversight in the public and/or private sector. Candidates must have superior organizational, analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of standard accounting practices. Must be independent, resourceful and able to function effectively and efficiently on many projects simultaneously. Experience supervising others required. Knowledge of health, lung cancer, and/or scientific issues a plus. This position reports to the Executive Director.
