Tire Sales Team Member: Responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires. This includes verifying tire size for the member's vehicle, completing the appropriate paperwork for the purchase of tires, merchandising tire displays and automotive products, keeping sales area clean, and complying with safety standards. May assist in stocking the Automotive Department, install tires as needed, and fill propane tanks if certified. Strong interpersonal skills and an attention to detail required. Other responsibilities as assigned.

This includes: mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires, complying with safety and cleanliness standards and utilizing tire bay equipment properly. May repair tires, assist members in the purchase of tires and fill propane tanks if certified. Strong interpersonal skills required. Prior tire installation experience helpful.

Meat Cutters: Responsible for cutting and preparing fresh and processed meat. This may also include receiving, merchandising, rotating product, assisting members, handling special requests and complying with sanitation and safety standards. Strong interpersonal skills and prior meat cutting experience required. Note: This position requires working in refrigerated conditions.

Bakery Manager: Responsible for managing the Bakery Department to maximize gross profits. This includes effectively utilizing the production scheduler in the production of bakery products, merchandising and rotating bakery products, complying with sanitation and safety standards, addressing member questions, handling special requests, supervising Bakery Team Members, ordering supplies, and conducting monthly inventories. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills and an attention to detail required. Prior bakery and supervisory experience preferred.

Overnight Merchandise Specialist: Responsible for the presentation and replenishment of merchandise in assigned locations. This includes ensuring that merchandise is displayed, rotated and that correct signs are present, monitoring stock status, replenishing as needed, ensuring that floors and shelves are free of debris, coordinating resets, supervising Ticketers, Merchandise Leads and Forklift Drivers. Strong interpersonal skills and an attention to detail required. Prior merchandising and forklift experience preferred.

Meat Manager: Responsible for managing the Meat Department to maximize gross profits. This includes ordering and receiving, displaying and rotating meat, cheese, prepared food and seafood products, enforcing trim standards, ensuring the merchandising and rotation of products, complying with sanitation and safety standards, addressing member questions, handling special requests, maintaining meat cutting equipment, supervising Meat Department Team Members, ordering supplies, and conducting monthly inventories. Strong interpersonal skills, an attention to detail and prior meat cutting experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Note: This position requires working in refrigerated conditions.

Hyannis

Deli/Seafood/Rotisserie Manager: Responsible for managing the Deli, Seafood and Rotisserie Department to maximize gross profits. This includes ordering and receiving, displaying and rotating deli meat, cheese, prepared food and seafood products, ensuring the merchandising and rotation of products, complying with sanitation and safety standards, addressing member questions, handling special requests, maintaining slicing equipment, supervising Department Team Members, ordering supplies, and conducting monthly inventories. Strong interpersonal skills, an attention to detail and prior eperience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Note: This position requires working in refrigerated conditions.

Store Manager in Training position begins with a 14-week training program. The position is accountable for the operations and profitability of a BJ's retail warehouse and controlling operating costs as well as, the implementation of new concepts to maximize profits. Works with other senior management to develop new concepts and to effectively and economically implement top management decisions relative to warehouse operations.

Responsible for generating planned profit objectives through effective techniques, technological improvements and productivity enhancements. Responsible for attaining planned sales volume through effective supervision of warehouse management and communication with the Home Office.
Monitors expenses versus plan and adjusts planned expenditures as necessary to achieve profit objectives.
Responsible for developing Team Members to provide for the internal growth necessary to sustain company needs at Assistant and Department Manager levels.
Directs Assistant Managers to achieve daily standards, both operational and overall presentation.
Responsible for working plans to achieve targets in key performance areas designated by Home Office, such as Productivity (sales/hours, audit, shrink, turnover)
Develop a "Best Practices" approach to achieve operational continuity. Creates and fosters an environment where replication of "Best Practices" produces real productivity gains.
The right person for this position must have 4+ years experience as a retail store or warehouse operations manager, preferably in a high sales volume supermarket, mass merchant, retail or wholesale club environment. A strong drive for results is critical.Ability to lead, and motivate a large group of Team Members.

Solid understanding of Profit & Loss Statements, shrink control, staff development, merchandising, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution.
