A non-profit scientific society headquartered in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Membership Program Coordinator in the Membership Services Department. Incumbent will be responsible for staffing the ASM Branch Organization, and Underrepresented Members Committees, is the primary authority in the Department for Survey Tracker software; supports development of social media platforms appropriate to committee objectives and coordinates all projects consistent with ASM Policy, the Membership Board Strategic Plan, under the supervision of the Department Director.

•College degree
•At least four years work experience, preferably in an association or non-profit organization
•Understanding of an association content development process
•Understands the value of volunteer leaders and member expertise for program development
•Understands value and importance of quality controls and implements them
•Proactive approach to departmental and committee goals
•Experience in budget management
•Detail oriented
•Able to work independently within a team environment
•Ability to collaborate in a positive manner with all staff members and departments
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
•Excellent communication skills both oral and written
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
•Managing databases and preparing reports required
•Social Media Savvy; Understands value of differing sites and technologies, which could benefit promotion, retention and committee efforts
•Knowledge of simple video editing a plus
•Knowledge of Survey Monkey and/or Zoomerang a plus
•Travel required

Salary mid 40’s. EOE.
