Job Description: Develop business plans, lead implementation & deliver objectives for small ware retail display product lines. Strategic annual plans that directly impact profitability and growth of the product lines.
Responsibilities Include: Conduct ongoing research & analysis related to competitors, including product, marketing, sales & pricing strategies, to ensure products are competitive in performance & pricing. Lead cross-functional project teams to drive key product-related initiatives to desired results & timing. Develop in-depth understanding of perspective & requirements of retailers as it relates to product lines & use insights/understanding of voice-of-customer to drive organization internally. Work closely with Sourcing to identify & develop supplier capabilities required for category leadership. Develop company & competitor product training materials to support internal personnel. Develop sales training, marketing & presentation materials to support successful sale of product lines. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience & Skills Required: 3+ years of product marketing experience related to retail products / distribution 3+ years business analysis and planning for retail products / distribution Experience managing and analyzing a P&L Ability to develop, present and manage execution of business plans. Able to lead and influence in a matrix organization, work in a team and build relationships. Solid presentation skills- can create strong presentations independently. Strong communication skills - both written and verbal High level computer skills - MS Office products. Knowledge of distribution a plus. Ability to travel.
MUST HAVE solid product management experience involving retail display or very similar.
Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field required- MBA preferred.
