I am looking for a home (house or town house preferred) with at least 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the Lakewood Elementary school district. Since the off-season is here, right now I can afford about $1,000 a month + bills. I have 1 Chihuahua and I have children. I am interested in renting but, if I can find someone who is willing to do a rent to own situation with no credit check that would be great. I need someone who would be willing to work with us on the deposit.
My family and I have been living in the same 2 br/ 2 ba apartment for the past 3 years, since we returned to the United States. My family went through a hard time while my husband went through the process of becoming a legal resident of the United States. We had to give up everything and move to his country during the process and when we returned we did not have any money and had to use credit cards to live in a hotel for several months until my husband's documents came in the mail and he was able to find work because none of the apartment complexes would rent to us without meeting the income guidelines. Needless to say we got swallowed up by the debts and all though we have used our tax refund every year to settle as much of those debts as we can, our credit is a mess.
We need someone who is willing to give us a chance. We are a hard working and responsible family. We take care of the important things such as rent, utilities and food first (we have children so it is important that they have a home, and the necessities). We have looked into rent to own before but, have heard bad things about putting money in and in the end not being able to get the property because of the owner not taking care of his or her end of the deal.
If there is someone who can no longer afford their payments and the payments are about $1,000 a month + bills I would be interested in taking over your payments to the bank with a contract that would give me ownership when the mortgage has been paid. This would be a win-win situation if your family is as desperate as mine. We would be able to buy a home and the owner would not have a foreclosure on their credit. We may need the owner to carry the mortgage for 2-5 years while we continue to pay on our debts and get our credit score up so that we can get financing of our own.
I you or anyone you may know would be interested please call me at 843-222-3071 Thank you for your time and consideration and may you have a blessed day. Sincerely, Sarah Magallanes
