Dolphin Fast Food, Inc. is a multi-unit Burger King Franchise. We are seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Manager position in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Area.
Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years management experience, a valid driverˇ¦s license and auto insurance, and experience in the food/hospitality industry.
Manages the operations activities of assigned shift while performing the duties of any Team Member position as well as management responsibilities.
Recruits, interviews, hire and train Team Members. Demonstrates proper procedures and observes policy, provides feedback to the employee. Assists all staff by responding to requests and resolving problems.
Coordinates the schedule for Team Members ensuring all workstations are covered. Adjusts the schedule as needed throughout the shift.
Assists Restaurant Manager with the management of cost control, P&L and operations budget ensuring bottom line profitability for assigned restaurant.
Reviews and updates the Manager's Log by identifying important information, performing duties noted in the Log and updating information that needs to be passed along to other managers.
Interviews, hires, trains and observes new Team Members on proper operations procedures. Responds to all Team Membersˇ¦ requests for assistance and resolves any issues or problems.
Conducts performance appraisals, counseling and disciplinary action for Team Members.
Takes daily deposits to the bank, processes voids at front counter and drive-thru, oversees the verification of individual drawers and completes cash reconciliation worksheets.
Inspects indoor and outdoor areas of the restaurant and delegates any necessary duties to Team Members. Troubleshoots malfunctions of equipment and facilities and controls the restaurant environmental factors.
Works any Team Member position and performs any necessary heavy cleaning duties.
Confirms deliveries by identifying product labeling, checking off items, signing paperwork and dating products. Adjusts stock levels according to the Operations Manual.
Performs inventory for closing: counts stock in storage areas, coolers, freezers; records final counts, processes paperwork; calls in bun count to bakery; performs inventory for closing/month end.
Monitors restaurant activities by performing QSC tours periodically throughout the shift and documents any items that need to be communicated to other managers in the Manager Log.
Performs Product Tests and Temperature Readings on equipment as required and documents appropriate paperwork. Arranges maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
Handles guest complaints and inquiries, resolves the complaint and counsels Team Members if necessary. Also, responsible for Team Member terminations if necessary.
Performs opening and closing responsibilities: locks/unlocks doors and drive-thru; opens/closes safe, sets the security systems; checks parking lot before opening and closing restaurant.
