Kehillat Israel is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support and enhance the work of the dynamic Senior Rabbi, Cantor, and Executive Director. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, able to mange time efficiently, effective at triaging and prioritizing information and requests, have excellent verbal and writing skills in English, be proficient and swift at drafting all types of correspondence, be skillful at preparing presentable reports and program materials, a quick study, a team player, able to liaison well between all types of personalities, and represent the three offices well. The candidate must have a knowledge of and commitment to building Jewish community, and shall embrace the mission, philosophy and strategic objectives of Kehillat Israel and Reconstructionist Judaism. An undergraduate degree is preferred; 3-5 years work experience will be considered. Familiarity with synagogue life is a plus; the ability to work well with others and enjoy a people-oriented organization is essential.
