Office Intern/Graphic Designer
Performing Arts Company seeks enthusiastic, friendly person with at 1-2 years experience in a busy, energetic office.

HOURS Mon–Thurs 1–5 Some time flexibility possible. May periodically require extra hours in the evenings, with compensation, to assist with our specialty programs.

» Phone/Computer skills and experience with Word, Excel, Internet.
» Able to work multi-line phones.
» Proficiency with desktop publishing programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Indesign (Windows).
» Solid understanding of production skills needed to prepare and set up files for press.
» Basic HTML knowledge.
» Knowledge of digital photography. Having digital camera a plus.
» Reliable vehicle needed, occasional travel to program locations.
» Comfortable with learning new programs.
» Motivated self-starter, reliable, dependable, task oriented, attention to detail, and able to multi-task.
» Comfortable working without constant supervision.
» Experience with the performing arts a plus.

» Answer telephone inquiries about programs.
» Process mail-in/online registrations.
» Organize program participant lists.
» File forms and correspondence and organize file cabinets.
» Compose correspondence for Managing Director’s signature.
» Help keep office clean and organized.
» Report directly to the Managing Director for daily assignments.
» Filing and data entry
» Create and produce print collateral, brochures, flyers, magazine advertisements, trade show exhibit design, e-newsletters, etc.
» Prepare files to be used on the web.
» Place ads on the web.
» Update existing website.
» Occasionally take photos at program locations and uploading to web.
» Update and organize list for flyers distribution. Keep in contact with clients.
