Divisions Inc. needs a seasoned and experienced Estimator to assist with providing cost estimates for their maintenance services. With a concentration on big box retailers, Divisions Inc. provides maintenance services by building relationships with clients and providers, and relying on our team’s knowledge of property management and/or maintenance industries. The Facility Maintenance Estimator reports to the Senior VP of Provider relations and is responsible for analyzing, auditing and estimating facility maintenance services throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities include utilizing standard production rates to accurately estimate work, developing standardized estimating methods, and analyzing and supporting the Regional Managers to ensure regional and district provider pricing is sustainable and cost effective. The Facility Maintenance Estimator also develops and prepares reports to analyze cost and productivity and is responsible for developing and maintaining an auditing system.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to accurately forecast the scope, cost and duration of a project in addition to having:
• A bachelors degree in construction management, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years cost estimating experience and prior relevant experience in the construction, landscaping, plumbing or electrical fields
• High level of knowledge for the Service Industry
• Strong problem solving, analytical and mathematical skills – able to develop complex formulas to calculate various pricing elements
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Excel spreadsheets and using Advanced Find within MS Dynamics or similar CRM
• Excellent planning, prioritization, time management and follow-up skills
• Ability to think creatively and proactively suggest business improvements
• Flexibility for occasional travel, up to 5-10%
