Writing Yoga is a unique five-day writing exercise plan which combines free writing, scene writing, and character study. The plan was designed to help writers stay “in shape” in their writing, and also to feel centeredness as writers.
Writing Yoga requires a commitment of one hour per day for five days. Exercises are given to the writer via email or phone each day for five days. Writers are expected to do their exercises independently but may contact their instructor for support when needed.
At the end of the five day period, writers have a conversation with their instructors about how the exercises affected their writing and how they might integrate them into their lives moving forward.
