Lecoq Cuisine wants to hire fast, friendly, and reliable Team Leaders to join the team! This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced environment with a well established company.

Summary:The purpose of this position is to support the Production Manager/Supervisor to achieve production goals and objectives. This is a working position relative to a specific production station.

Essential Job Functions:

Insures all employees are fully trained on policies, procedures, machinery, and equipment.
Monitors plant safety and reports any and all issues to management in a timely manner.
Directs team on assignments, tasks and responsibilities.
Identifies, alerts, and communicates any issues pertaining to food quality and food safety (HACCP) problems to Production Supervisor.
Participates in all production work as directed by supervisor.
Performs periodic quality audit checks, documents and reports issues to supervisor.
May develop and propose improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the internal effectives of the production staff.
Insures work area is clean, organized and safe per Company standards.
Keeps management advised of any potential problem areas and recommends solutions.
Assists Manager with the disciplinary process.
Other duties as assigned.

High School diploma and/or a minimum of 1-2 years related experience in production environment or any combination of education and experience.
Ability to achieve production goals and objectives.
Basic Math and English skills are preferred.
Able to assist with the progressive disciplinary process including termination.
Ability to interact and communicate with employees, supervisors, etc.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is required.
Attention to detail. Ability to work independently juggling multiple tasks.
Must be able to pass background check
Work Environment:

While performing this job, the employee will be required to stand; use hands, handle or feel or reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, talk, and hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move a minimum of 25 pounds. While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving parts and cold environment in freezer area (0), which may vary according to assignment. The noise level is usually moderate to high.
