Essential Functions

• Ensures customer’s satisfaction with Client’s products. Provides internal process and programs that yield products that meet or exceed customers’ expectations.
• Creates and maintains both a quality-centric and quality-focused culture for all Client production activities throughout the Operations organization.
• Maintains a quality organization at the cutting-edge with DOE, SPC, ISO, RGT, RDT, RQT, PRAT and Six Sigma technique proficiencies.
• Establishes goals and objectives that stretch boundaries by detailing specific continuous improvement activities focused on enhancing internal process and test yields.
• Establishes and meets annual financial budgets for direct labor, indirect expenses, overhead rates and capital.
• Interacts both vertically and horizontally in a way that commands both personal respect and mission acceptance.
• Maintains effective working relationships with DCMC and customers’ source representatives.
• Leads the Black Belt activities related to multiple major business improvement projects concurrently (i.e., cycle time reduction, inventory turns, on-time delivery) to achieve recognition and reputation as a world class manufacturer.
• Generates and achieves annual target savings by managing Six Sigma projects.
• Acts as a change agent for improvement initiatives.
• Possesses the ability and interpersonal skills to influence all levels of the organization.
• Develops a comprehensive audit for each project that clearly identifies activities required to ensure that gains are sustained.
• Makes recommendations for changes in the organization and major equipment purchases.
• Provides training, guidance and support to the other Client Solutions Subsidiaries.
• Holds periodic Six Sigma project reviews with the Executive Staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• BS degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• MS in Engineering or MBA preferred
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (DMAIC Methodology)
• Minimum 10 years experience to include:
o Thorough knowledge of quality procedures including ISO, DOE, SPC, RGT, RDT, RQT, PRAT, Six Sigma techniques, reporting and correction action techniques.
o In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes including SMT, through-hole technology and box build assembly.
