Essential Functions

• Leads Lean Product Launch Teams and Value Engineering Kaizens.

• Develops and implements complex process techniques and standard work used to facilitate the lean manufacture of various electronic products.
• Provides work leadership, mentoring and training to lower level engineers, technicians and cell teams.
• Reviews product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility of processing methods.
• Recommends and prepares changes, additions and modifications which will facilitate the manufacturing process.
• Conceives and plans projects involving definition and selection of new approaches to the manufacturing process.
• Determines cause for rejected parts and their disposition.
• Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
• Reviews and analyzes discrepancy or yield information and recommends corrective action.
• Analyzes contractual specifications to determine job scope and requirements and takes necessary steps to implement.
• Participates in cost studies and equipment recommendations.
• Assists in the preparation of cost estimates for new business.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• • Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Bachelors Seven (7) or more years related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes including SMT Manufacturing, Wave/Selective Soldering,
Box Build and circuit card assembly.

• Full understanding and experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Df(x) methodologies, as well as IPC Class-3/J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
• Knowledge of the following equipment is a plus:
• DEK screen printing
• Universal HSP & GSM Pick and Place Equipment
• Cencorp and ATI Depaneling Routers
• Vitronics Soltec DeltaMax and MySelective Soldering equipment
• GPD CF-8/CF-9 Lead Forming Equipment
• NuClean Poly SMT Cleaning Systems
- Excellent computer and communication skills required
