Essential Functions • Direct, lead, and manage a group of test and manufacturing engineers working on various projects. • Establish goals for each manufacturing and engineering project. • Develop and drive major improvement programs in the areas of quality, output, yield, and cost reduction. • Collaborate with other functional and operational personnel to establish and execute business and operational strategies. • Develop, track, and report on budgets, department metrics, and department objectives. • Manage performance against budgets. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: • BS degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering • MS in Engineering or MBA preferred • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (DMAIC Methodology) • Minimum 10 years experience to include: o Automation and high-volume manufacturing experience leading and managing test & mfg engineers o 5+ years of technical management experience o In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes including SMT, through-hole technology and box build assembly • “Factory of the Future” leadership experience desired.
