Responsibilities: •Team with production management to ensure proper operation of machines and resolve immediate quality problems. •Establish and maintain process control specifications and procedures. •Keep abreast of new processing equipment and production techniques. •Assist in developmental trials and new product introductions. •Conduct machine process audits on established schedule. •Attend quality, cost and delivery meetings. •Create and evaluation statistical process control data. •Assist with training production associates in equipment operation. •Provide necessary feedback to associates through written, verbal, and posted communications. •Responsible for product quality at customer locations.
Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree, engineering preferred 3+ years of weaving process experience (no exceptions) •Strong technical background- must have specific examples of in-depth problem solving in a manufacturing facility. •Proficiency in system/process improvement tools (SPC, FMEA, DOE) •Strong interpersonal skills
