Account Manager - Akron

Divisions Inc. needs an energetic and highly motivated Account Manager to support our Akron territory. With a concentration on big box retailers, Divisions Inc. provides maintenance services by building relationships with clients and providers, and relying on our team’s knowledge of property management and/or maintenance industries. The Account Manager reports to the District Manager in the territory and is responsible for maintaining accounts and adding on services to ensure continued growth.

Responsibilities include an emphasis on business to business customer relationship building. The Account Manager makes regular visits to established local and corporate customers to ensure their needs are met, with an eye toward the opportunity to add-on services, as well as responding to issues that arise, in a timely manner. Additionally, he/she works with providers to ensure quality service and performance standards are being administered, including on site quality and accuracy audits.

Candidates must be centrally located within the Akron area to ensure the ability to reach clients within the territory, within 1 hour, when needed.

The ideal candidate will have:
• 1-2 years experience in property management, construction, landscaping, plumbing or electrical, or a familiarity with such trades through another line of work.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Demonstrated creativity to make connections with clients and potential clients
• Excellent time management and follow-up skills
• Self confidence and motivation
• Proven success of setting and achieving goals for future growth opportunities
• Bachelor’s degree
• Computer proficiency a must
