SFO Shuttle Bus Company is looking for an experienced and seasoned Transportation Professional – Operations Manager. This is a working manager’s position.

Position Overview:
SFO Shuttle Bus Company is looking for an experienced Transportation Professional Operations Manager to provide assistance to SFO Shuttle Bus Company in Mountain View. This position will be responsible for the timely and efficient performance of Bus Service by establishing professional transportation service operations, high levels of customer service and profitability. The perfect candidate must have five years bus transportation experience, commuter-related transport a plus. Experience managing both personnel and equipment under demanding schedules and deadlines. Will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the operation, servicing SFO Shuttle Employees and passengers in a friendly and courteous manner. Required to mentor, support and supervise the entire team.

Education Requirements:
Five years’ position related experience, which must include a minimum of three years transportation experience and two years supervisory experience.
Prior experience for managing and supervising a team (required)
Prior experience in commuter-related transport environment (preferred)
Accounting and Finance skills (required)
Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, VMCS, KRONOS, ADP, etc. (required)
Must be able to work various shifts (day, evening, nights, weekends) as required by the needs of the business.

The job responsibilities include:
Monitor Sigalert to review traffic conditions and anticipate any service delays or route deviations. Expected to know routes and schedules, DOT regulations, CHP compliance, ADA requirements, conduct regular safety meetings, document personnel issues, and maintain high morale and foster teamwork.
Proactive, well organized manager with above average computer skills; the ability to manage multiple projects;  knowledge and/or ability to learn specialized programs (GPS-based systems, operation of security cameras, plug-in regenerative units, vehicle and driver database management program, generate reports on ridership counts, trends, etc.). 
We will expect you to be a problem-solver, analyzing and interpreting information to offer solutions in scheduling, bus stops, all aspects of the operation as issues arise in our efforts for continuous improvement.
