A recruiter is motivated and determined to uncover the "Best" candidates for the position. The recruiter is responsible for generating candidates for particular opportunities within a specific industry and geography. The recruiter is held accountable for personal production while contributing to the overall success of the business center. This position is the stepping stone to developing relationships with local talent by cold calling, networking, and mining to build professional relationships with customers and candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Recruit scientific professionals for positions within the life sciences & scientific industries. • Interview applicants to identify and summarize relevant experience and hard and soft skills to assess applicant's suitability • Follow up regularly with candidates and customers to maintain relationships to build knowledge of needs and opportunities • Maintain familiarity with the most effective recruiting tools appropriate to the industry to include: networking with active consultants, constructing availability lists, database searches, Internet searches, resume searches, other job boards, and organizations. • Create attractive and effective ads for the Internet, and other appropriate advertising mediums • Generate sales leads and work within the Myelin Model
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • A minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience, preferably experience recruiting candidates in the contract or direct placement industry • Strong commitment to customer service • Strong computer skill including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task • Great attitude and team player • Successful completion of background screening process
Minimum Education and Experience: • Minimum one year of recruiting experience or demonstrated scientific knowledge base • A BS/BA Degree
