Job Responsibilities: Will provide a blend of Technical/Functional subject matter expertise for the maintenance, support and development of Enterprise Back Office systems. This role specifically works in collaboration with vendor engineering teams and the internal stakeholder community to provide enterprise and system level consulting on business analysis, software design and development efforts. This role identifies ways technology solutions can be applied to support business strategies and improve business processes primarily related to our ORACLE component based ERP footprint. Will partner with business units and Business Consultants team to communicate and clarify business needs to vendor resources, contribute to development of long-range systems plans and architecture, assist in requirements elaboration, and ensure products and services are aligned and implemented to meet business needs. May be required to participate minimally in hands-on development work, specifically when it comes to assisting with high severity incident reports or time-critical project deadlines. Will conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost-benefit analysis. Will also review estimates and designs to ensure compliance with architectural standards. 1. Acts as the primary contact between the vendor engineering teams, collaborating to prepare estimates, develop schedules, and implement requirements to meet deadlines 2. Manages system and user acceptance testing cycles to ensure accurate and quality business solutions. 3. Creates and maintain configuration and design standards 4. Ensures RAP (reliability, availability and performance) are considered whenever solutions are being designed and built in our enterprise
Job Requirements: HS diploma + 8 years experience in all phases of IT system development Life Cycle (SDLC); Experience in implementing Oracle ERP solutions and proven appropriate degree of Functional and Technical acumen for the respective technology domain such as BRM, OMIPM, DataStage, SQL, and Stored Procedures; Knowledge of large complex systems such as Oracle ERP with respect to the Business Processes, Technology, Integration points, and Infrastructure; Ability to size concepts and develop L4 use cases using Blueprint or related tool; Understanding of Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Quality Assurance processes
