Job Responsibilities: Supporting the departments Sales, Services and Marketing IT team, this position exists to provide a blend of Technical/Functional subject matter expertise for the maintenance, support and development of company's Enterprise CRM & BI systems. This role specifically works in collaboration with vendor engineering teams and the stakeholder community to provide enterprise and system level consulting on business analysis, software design and development efforts. This role identifies ways technology solutions can be applied to support business strategies and improve business processes primarily related to our Siebel component based CRM & BI footprint. Individuals in this role partner with business units and company Business Consultants team to communicate and clarify business needs to vendor resources, contribute to development of long-range systems plans and architecture, assist in requirements elaboration, and ensure products and services are aligned and implemented to meet business needs. It is also expected that the company Systems Consultant may be required to participate minimally in hands-on development work, specifically when it comes to assisting with high severity incident reports or time-critical project deadlines. Will conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost-benefit analysis. Will also review estimates and designs to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
General Accountabilities 1. Acts as the primary contact between the vendor engineering teams and LexisNexis, collaborating to prepare estimates, develop schedules, and implement requirements to meet deadlines 2. Actively builds, maintains, and utilizes an extensive network across the company 3. Seeks diverse ideas and perspectives from a variety of sources to create better solutions, products, and services 4. Manages system and user acceptance testing cycles to ensure accurate and quality business solutions 5. Escalates broader scale decisions to appropriate managers or points-of-contact.
Technical Accountabilities 1. As the authoritative technical resource is responsible for ensuring architecture guidelines are implemented to optimize total cost of ownership 2. Coordinates multi-system solutions to clarify interdependencies so that such systems appear seamless to customer. 3. Assists with the development of and at all times ensures adherence to enterprise technical and architectural standards and processes 4. Creates and maintain configuration and design standards 5. Represents team in technical discussions with other teams or departments 6. Thinks and acts at the enterprise level when engaging in day to day duties; professionally contends with our onshore and offshore partners to ensure robust, high quality solutions 7. Ensures RAP (reliability, availability and performance) are considered whenever solutions are being designed and built in our enterprise
Job Requirements: HS diploma + 8 years experience in all phases of IT system development Life Cycle (SDLC); Experience in implementing Siebel CRM solutions and proven appropriate degree of Functional and Technical acumen for the respective technology domain such as Siebel Sales, Siebel Marketing, Siebel Service, Assignment manager, Siebel Remote , EIM, EAI, Siebel CTI, SQL, and Stored Procedures; Knowledge of large complex systems such as Siebel CRM with respect to the Business Processes, Technology, Integration points, and Infrastructure; Ability to size/Estimate concepts and develop detailed use cases using Blueprint or related tool ; Proven ability to collaborate and partner with peers in a heavily matrixed organization
