My name is Melody. I'm 24, single mother, and I just moved here from Utah. I graduated Cosmetology with 2,000 hours in 2006. I also attended a hair competition in Chicago, IL. in 2006, where I competed in both Color/Updo and Color/Cut. I placed 3rd in the U.S. with a Combination of the scores in each category. Upon graduation from the accreditted Stacey's Hands of Champions Beauty College, I did not take my state boards, therefore never recieved my licensing. I am looking to have my hours transferred from Utah to Texas in order to obtain a Cosmetology license in Texas. I have amazing talent but feel a little "rusty" so to say, and would like to apprentice under somebody in order to regain my confidence and "freshen" my skills prior to completing my State Board Exam. I do believe in order for a cosmetologist to apprentice an individual, they must be licensed as an instructor. If you are a salon owner, and are licensed as an instructor, I would like to be your apprentice. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
