Hi there. I am looking for a new home for my two pet rats, Marco and Rupert. My female rat just had 11 babies, so i have absolutely no room anymore, and as much as it breaks my heart to have to give them up, i'd prefer to keep females now anyway. First of all, like the title says, im asking a $7 re-homing fee each for them, if you are taking JUST ONE. I'd PREFER if you take two, and if you end up doing so, i will cut the re-homing fee down to $7 for both, because honestly, the re-homing is just to make sure that my babies won't be snake food. They are 4-5 months old. Marco is very friendly and fat and squishy and just fun to have around. Rupert is his life companion. They've been together since they were old enough to be away from Mommy, and they're actually probably brothers because i got them from the same guy.. Marco always comes to the door when i come around, and wants to see me, but Rupert is a little more shy. I'm sure with a little more attention from his new Mommy or Daddy though, he will warm up just nicely. He's not mean at all, just a little shy. I will bathe them and cut their nails before you come to pick them up, so you will have no worries about them being Mr. Stinky :P The only way i will let you separate them, is if you have at least one rat already, and can prove it, because i just dont think it's right to keep a rat alone. I'd rather not separate them at all though, because they are so close, and really, all each other has.. Please, give these two beautiful babies a home, and love them as much as i do :)
Also, if you are looking for a younger rat, still get a hold of me, because that litter will be ready to leave Mama in about 2-3 weeks. I have 2 girls i am not keeping and 6 boys, i believe. Colors vary. (gray, black, white with black head ((in sort of a fancy rat style)) white with gray head, etc) I would not suggest adopting Kitty (Mama rat) because she is very hostile, mean and bites.. but i won't say no, if you think you can handle her!
