Collaborate with Pre-Sales Field Engineers in an outside sales role seeking and securing new accounts.
Daily/on-going remote communication to various prospects at multiple levels.
Define and implement an account strategy within a self-managed, developing territory. Personally lead sales strategies for multiple deals.
Gather information regarding a clientís current situation, analyze requirements, and determine areas of opportunity through an understanding of technical challenges and needs.
Contribute to solving customers' system management challenges by applying a combination of technology, business, interpersonal, and professional experience and propose/demonstrate solutions presenting product attributes.
Perform market analysis and competitive benchmarking.
Utilize internal resources and collaborate with various departments within the organization to provide client with information and services.
Develop sales forecasts.
Prepare and deliver status reports through use of
CRM system for sales meetings.
Bachelorís degree required.
5 - 8 years outside sales experience of technology based business solutions; direct selling software, services, training, as well as subscription models.
Must have an established home office.
Must have a successful track record prospecting including cold calls and lead generation in a business-to-business environment, specifically enterprise level.
Experience selling business value (both high & low) to VP and Director level contacts, as well as technical users, with the ability to close at the CIO/CTO level.
Should be experienced in presenting appropriate solutions via web demonstrations (both solutions selling and features/benefit presentations required).
