The Systems Engineer will serve as the expert responsible for providing technical leadership and direction in supporting the application of sound communications and/or software engineering concepts and practices to National Airspace System (NAS) systems. The Systems Engineer must have experience in advising, participating, and supporting projects and teams in the technical analysis of large, complex, mission critical systems in defining communications and/or software architecture. Applicant must have experience and knowledge in developing guidance for projects in testing and evaluation, communications and/or software aspects of certification, and associated communications and/or software engineering subjects as well as rendering direct assistance to communications and/or software projects. Applicants must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Requires a Bachelorís Degree in Engineering, math, or science and 10-15 years of related experience.
