Duties: Manage all plant operations and operating personnel. Will be responsible for daily production planning and execution. Supervise and train Team Leaders in functional departments. Will coordinate with Client Services Representatives on customer requirements to plan production and meet customer needs. Will develop and execute safety plans to maintain compliance with OSHA standards. Will develop and execute a plan for maintenance of heavy equipment. Will manage and develop operating budgets. Must assist management in the development and expansion of new business opportunities. Will development of additional profitable services for our Fortune 500 customers. Expansion of services to other railroads and rail-related customers. Technical Services-working with management and plant personnel to develop and enhance testing and certification services. Interfaces with company and customer personnel regarding administrative issues. Ensures plant compliance with all Corporate policies. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Operations or related field. Minimum of 3 years management experience. Demonstrate strong leadership skills. Ability to interface and relate with employees, management, customers and suppliers. Fast and self-motivated independent learner. Excellent organizational skills. Adaptable to diversity of responsibilities and changing assignments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills. Ability to travel periodically Railroad experience and/or knowledge preferred but not required.
Annual salary of $60K+ depending on experience plus annual discretionary bonus. Benefits: medical, dental, retirement, etc.
