Pingsta is seeking an experienced Global Sales Executive to join its Sales team. The position is full-time and is based in our Redwood City, CA offices.
Global Sales Executives are expected to be self-starters with excellent communications skills on the phone, in person, and via PowerPoint, Word, Excel and e-mail. Successful Global Sales Executives make lots of prospecting calls to identify and build relationships with buyers of Pingsta services and occasionally travel to make presentations and to close deals. The Global Sales Executive will report directly to the CEO. Responsibilities:
* North America & Europe * Identifies, pursues and closes new Pingsta ICE sales. * Meets and/or exceeds predetermined sales goals and quotas. * Conducts regular account reviews. * Works with Pingsta ICE operations team to enhance current offerings and develop new ones as appropriate. * Drives the sales of new services and act as the customer's advocate within Pingsta. * Weekly monitoring and reporting of sales and business development pipeline.
* Must have multi-million dollar quota achievement track record * An in-depth understanding of Cloud Computing and/or Software-as-a-Service is a bonus. * Must demonstrate abilities with operations start-up, expansion, strategic planning, customer relations and retention, contract development and negotiation. * Must be a team player in lead, peer and follower situations. * Must have practical experience in managing by influence. * Must be able to confidently navigate gate-keepers to reach decision-makers. * Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills using Microsoft and/or Apple Mac and desktop sharing tools * Must have strong internet research skills using search engines, research databases, etc. * Strong negotiation and closing skills are essential. * Must be organized, self-motivated, frugal and able to travel as needed. * Ability and experience working in a very fast paced environment is a bonus. * A positive "can do" attitude is a must * Direct successful prior experience with selling in large deals is a big plus.
Recommended Educational Background:
* Bachelor of Science or Arts or equivalent and 3-5 plus years of proven successful sales experience exceeding targeted objectives.
